"Then do something about it." Daine spat, the words neither challenging nor mocking. In fact, the devil just sounded disgusted. Her smile instantly dropped from her face and her tail flicked back and forth, as if impatient, "Grow weary of the games all you want but they won't stop until you do something about it. You're God's chess piece, sent to stop us pawns of Satan from over-running Eden. All of this is a game."
Daine was suddenly fed-up with all of this. With the angels pretending to be innocent. With the humans for being so weak. And especially with Aingeal for not knowing what it was that she wanted. Her grey-green eyes flickered faintly with disgust and impatience, the most emotion she had bother to show in awhile, "Either make your point or be gone, angel."

"You know, you're really attractive when you're angry," Vale's voice reached the two before her image did. She came down from above, landing on the roof in-between Daine and Aingeal. Her small wings wouldn't have held her much longer, but she tried to make sure it wasn't obvious. The night wrapped around Daine so favorably while it seemed to shun the foul angelic figure to her other side. Flirting with Daine was like a sport for Vale. She never expected anything to come of it, but it was irritable and fun for her. Somewhat like how she felt about running.
"Should I take care of this angel before you cut her throat?" She glanced over to Daine with a playful grin. Vale knew that Daine didn't really want her help, but she figured she'd ask anyway. Daine could always handle situations with angels by talking doubt into their mind. She was such a pro it was intimidating.

He set his Motorcycle a little distance away from the Square, so that the sound of it wouldn't be heard at his approach. "So...this is where we have the spike in activity according to Evan. Might as well do a little Recon," Cptn. Vladimir Matthais Rustov said to himself. He put on his Spec Ops gear and slung his M107 Sniper Rifle, with the 10x Scope Optional nightvision and the Bi-pod over his shoulder. He took out his .50 cal Desert eagle and moved forward at a slow pace, as not to be seen.
He stuck to the shadows, moving from building to building. This was his element. Single person missions without having to carry the luggage of the others behind him. Besides, a single person would have an easier time infiltrating among the enemy.
Upon finally reaching the edge of the square, he made his way into the nearest building, which was run down and desolate. He quickly walked to the window facing the square. He swapped his Pistol for the binoculars on his hip and took a quick scan of the area. He was in luck. On the opposite side of the squar was a trio of people. He could not tell at this range with the binoculars. So he Unslung his rifle and set it up in the darkness of the building. Now he saw clearly. Two demons and an Angel. and it seemed they were in a bit of a foul mood. He passed this crosshairs on each one. His trigger finger itched to pull the trigger. but he had not the permission to fire, nor had they done any act of real harm. So there was nothing he could do other then watch the exchange.

"Why thank you, Vale," Daine flashed Vale a brilliant smile. It was short-lived, however, as Daine stared, emotionless, at Aingeal. She sized-up the angel, judging what she might do and all of the aftereffects. It was a cold, calculated view on life. A view Daine was used to and took very little comfort in, "I'm sure she would suffer more if we let her live." She stated flatly, in her endearing voice.
The wind picked up harshly, ruffling Daine's scarlet hair. Whipping around her head in the night wind, her hair looked like freshly spilt blood. She was the demonic leader in appearance as well as position. Devil's advocate down to the heart of her. Internally, she focused her thoughts on the angel in front of her, ignoring Vale's flirtatiousness for the moment. This angel was supposedly their leader, but at the moment, she barely even registered as a threat. Daine found this exceedingly strange.

From within the comfort of the shadows emerged the solid figure of a male among the trio of women. He was a large, brawny creature with a pierced lip, darkened eyes, bandaged wrists and ankles, and immense wings. Very much unlike Aingeal's pair, they appeared dusty and worn-out, left open for criticism and mockery, but he couldn't care less. Yohrich knew the status of his appearance and what interpretations they might stir up among those of either side, but that factor was so far back in his mind that all he could think about was shutting up this wretched fool before more blasphemous fodder came pouring out once again. He had been there, the entire time, watching, observing, waiting to see what his so-called 'commander' would do and how she would handle herself in front of this infamous villain. Sadly, he was unimpressed. She took no action and only allowed her mind and thoughts to travel to a realm of uncertainty and doubt, just like this Daine had planned. But he wouldn't allow the second member of her party to intrude, at least not while he was still breathing...
"Step one foot closer to her, and I swear it'll be your last, concubine...", the guardian angel known as Yohrich announced and warned, literally stepping up to Aingeal's side. His right fist remained in his left palm, a sign that he was ready to start throwing punches if things became more heated. Despite his dignity, he'd strike a woman, or two, if it came down to it. And he knew the devil's game. Deceivers of truth and ramblers of lies. The mind and soul was their initial target, but that wouldn't help when up against one who only cared about one thing...

Daine turned her head slightly to examine Yohrich. Slowly, subtly, her pale green iris' began to bleed over into the color of fresh blood. Her tail twitched angrily though her expression remained perfectly blank. She wasn't pleased with the threat to a member of her group by an unmarked, unimpressive angel.
Daine didn't recognize him and, as somebody of no rank or reputation, she didn't see him as a challenge. This only fed her anger. She wouldn't have her rank or that of her underling's questioned by some random angel. With a slow exhale, Daine's eyes changed back to their normal, unfeeling grey-green. "Make another threat, darling," Daine spoke with a cold, empowered voice that was at contrast with her completely emotionless face, "and I swear it will be your last." Oddly enough, her voice didn't sound stereotypically demonic. There was no rasp, no sticky sweetness. The tone could be more accurately compared to drowning in a frozen river.

'That voice... She's the one...', the male thought lowly to himself before averting his gaze over towards the leader of the pack, Satan's mistress and deliverer of sin. So that was his target? Looks really were deceiving. The man wasn't sexist, but he had never imagined to be fighting a war full of females, from his own kind to these two demons. Apparently, something was going on with men that didn't affect him. Either way, it didn't matter. A threat was a threat, despite the color of the lips in which evoked the words. It only made everything much more interesting.
Turning his body completely towards Satan's magistrate, Yohrich cracked his neck before breaking his bandaged fingers one by one, all the while, staring at this girl with fiery passion. He lived to hunt and kill, despite his origins and targets. Demon, mortal, or angel... They were all the same. Targets, nothing more, nothing less. Rank was out the door and only fists did the talking from here on. His reply to her words wouldn't come from his lips, but from brooding, dark eyes of pale hatred and disgust, a stare one of her kind would find ultimately familiar and reminiscing. Finally, a hand drew up from his side, and the flicking of fingers going back and forth was the trigger. All that was left to decide was... who would shoot first?

The invitation was obvious. The silly angel wanted a fight. A fight with her. "Ha," The sound wasn't a laugh. It was a mockery of a mockery. Daine considered the angel for less than a second and her lovely strawberry colored lips spreading into a smirk, "Ha. Ha. Ha." She flickered her tail, lowering her eyelids slightly in smug humor, "I'm afraid I won't oblige, hun. You have a while to go before you're fit to challenge me. I don't take offers from nobodies."
The dare was evident. Just try it. You'll lose. The leader of the devils was rarely this insulted or this amused. Every angel was out to rid the world of her lowly self inevitably, but few actually rose to challenge her. Most expected the innocent, confused angel leader to do it. Though it seemed Aingeal was busy fighting an inner battle at the moment. In Daine's opinion, the angel was remarkably hopeful, even for one of it's kind. Fighting the right hand lady of Satan right off the bat? Good luck.

'Overconfidence is a trait among these fools as it appears...', the male thought to himself as his hand gesture transformed into nothing more than a mere thumb pointing down till the entire limb fell back to his side. This girl, like all the other devils, fancied herself too well to be touched. It was ridiculous how one's ego could inflate to the point of flight, but nonetheless, Yohrich only lowered his head just a tad bit so that the shadows casted from his bangs now rested heavily over dim, azure eyes... and a hidden smirk.
"Nobodies, you say? I believe you are referring to your countless, misfortunate kin who've all fallen before this one nobody", the male returned, his face still hidden as if he were trying to hide something devious or haunting from even her Daine's eyes. "I suppose that makes me, what...? The Nobody to end all nobodies...? Are you afraid to become one yourself, crimson lady?", the fighter continued, his smirk growing wider with contempt as his face finally lifted to face the woman before him. Blackness filled his hues and nothing but scarred, tormented memories lingered behind such onyx glass. He might have been an angel, but he definitely was no angel...

Daine shrugged as her temper drained away, "Many devils are nobodies. I've killed many of my own people. Evil is as evil does," The demon smiled, though it never reached her grey-green gaze, "I don't discriminate."
It was true enough. Daine was known to kill for nothing. Her moods were changeable and her forgiveness fickle. Approach her on the wrong day and, regardless of race, you would find your life ended. The 'crimson lady' was moody but emotionless, haughty but kind, cruel but generous. Satan's goal was never understanding and Daine was nearly impossible to understand. However, Daine thought, running a hand absently through her blood-red hair, Angels never cease with the hypocrisy. So often 'God's do-gooders' are just as evil as my devils. What lunatics.
