• No flaming. EVER. Of any kind. If any staff member finds you saying derogatory things about anybody, you will be banned. That ban will not be lifted.
  
  
  
• No impersonations. Don't pretend to be somebody else that is on this site. Make your own character or play a canon. Please don't pretend to be another roleplayer. It's rude.
  If a staff member catches you impersonating somebody, your account will be suspended for two weeks.
  
  
  
• Swear words are fine as long as they aren't overused. We don't want to hear the f-word everything three seconds. It gets annoying.
  
  
  
• You may have as many accounts as you like, as long as you keep them all active. One character per account.
  
  
  
• Be active. Your account will get deleted if you don't login and post within a month. You are free to remake your account, however, all of your roleplays will have been moved and you won't be allowed to continue them. You will have to start anew.
  
  
  
• Any picture you have in your signature must be less than 500 pixels in height and 500 pixels in width. If your picture (or pictures) exceeds that amount, a staff member will delete it and then pm you about it.
  
  
  
• Icons need to be 100 pixels in width or less. And no larger than 200 pixels in height. If your icon is bigger than that, an admin will remove it then pm you about it.
  100x100 is the usual size of an icon.
  If you're having trouble finding an icon in the right size, talk to Cat. She can make you one.
  
  
  
• Your display name needs to be first name then last name. No strange nicknames or odd symbols. However, if your character prefers a nickname over their first name, feel free to use that.
  Ex: "Caitlin Williams" or "Cait Williams"
  
  
  
• Inappropriate or offensive material in any of your images will cause the image to be removed by a staff member and you will be warned. If it happens again you account will be temporarily suspended.

• Wait for your character application to be approved before you begin to roleplay.
  You may respond to things while you're waiting, as long as it's not in-character.
  
  
  
• Applications need to be in the given format. And read the format directions! They're there for a reason. If you don't read the directions from the application format, your character probably won't be approved.
  
  
  
• Canon characters are available. Us admins will create more as the need arises. If you want a canon character but none are available, contact an admin. We'll make you one as soon as possible.
  
  
  
• Every character must have a picture. If you are having trouble finding a picture to fit your character, ask a staff member. We'd be happy to help.
  
  
  
• This may sound slightly odd, but no alien characters. (Aliens as in those from outer space.) They really have no place in this sort of roleplay. It's highly unlikely that you would want to play one anyways... However, even if you did want to, you can't. Sorry.
  
  
  
• All character personalities must have at least one flaw. No Mary-Sues (perfect characters). Preferably, your character's personality has several flaws because flaws make people interesting.

• No god-moding. While you may be an angel or a demon or whatever, you still aren't god. Any post that contains god-moding will be deleted and the writer of that post will be warned. If it happens again, the member in question will be banned for a week.
  (If you don't know the meaning of 'god-moding', look it up. Wikipedia explains it rather well.)
  
  
  
• The preferred post length is two paragraphs. Eden's Rebirth is a literate roleplaying site. The minimum post length is six sentences. If you're just having the hardest time writing a six sentence answer to a specific post, then feel free to write less. However, this shouldn't happen too often and if a staff member feels you've done it too much, they will warn you about it.
  
  
  
• No chat-speak. It's allowed in the C-Box to a small extent but it is not allowed at all in the main boards. The reason? It's hard to read and it just generally looks annoying.
  
  
  
• Flaming is not accepted even if it's part of your character. In character or out of character, flaming is not allowed.
