general

♦ No flaming of any kind. If any staff member finds you saying derogatory things about anybody because of their race, gender, or religion, you will be banned. That ban will not be lifted.


♦ No impersonations. Make your own character or play a canon. Please don't pretend to be another roleplayer. It's rude.
If a staff member catches you impersonating somebody, your account will be temporarily suspended.


♦ You may have as many accounts as you like, as long as you keep them all active. One character per account please.


♦ Be active. We don't expect like a billion posts a day, but if you don't post once a month expect to be 'in the red'.


♦ Any picture you have in your signature must be less than 500 pixels in height and 500 pixels in width. If your picture (or pictures) exceeds that amount, a staff member will delete it and then pm you about it.


♦ Icons can be no larger than 100x100 pixels. Go ahead and try, really. It just won't go any bigger!


♦ Your display name needs to be first name then last name. No strange nicknames or odd symbols. However, if your character prefers a nickname over their first name, feel free to use that.
Ex: "Lillian Williams" or "Lilly Williams"


♦ Inappropriate or offensive material in any of your images will cause the image to be removed by a staff member and you will be warned. If it happens again you account will be temporarily suspended.

character

♦ Wait for your character application to be approved before you begin to roleplay.
You may respond to things while you're waiting, as long as it's not in the main boards. Out of Character things and games are open.


♦ Applications need to be in the given format. And read the format directions! They're there for a reason. Staff has the right to ask you do change things about your character before they approve it.


♦ Canon characters are available. Staff will create more as the need arises. If you want a canon character but none are available, contact a staff member. We'll make you one as soon as possible.


♦ Every character must have a face claim of anime/manga nature. Please don't use just random snippets of art. If you're having trouble on a face claim go ahead and ask around! As staff we're willing to help you out.


♦ All character personalities must have a couple flaws. No Mary-Sues (perfect, flat, predictable characters). Ideally, your character's personality has several flaws because flaws make people interesting.

posting

♦ No god-moding. Any post that contains god-moding will be deleted and the writer of that post will be warned. If it happens again, the member in question will have their account temporarily suspended.
(If you don't know the meaning of 'god-moding', look it up. Wikipedia explains it rather well.)


♦ Try to be literate in your posts. We want to be able to understand what you're saying and have a good chance to reply to it. No post length for now, but dear goodly goodness no one-liners guys!


♦ No chat-speak. It's allowed in the C-Box but it is not allowed at all in the main boards. The reason? It's hard to read and it just generally looks annoying.
