Iris Sophia Ambriel is a rather unique angel. Her long hair, which is a startling shade of pink, and her large lavender wings instantly set her apart from a crowd. To add to that (as if bubblegum hair wasn't enough) Iris has bright, sky blue eyes set in a very open, expressive face. She's as easy to read as any book, even if she can't say it with her voice.
Bright, bubblegum pink hair is difficult enough to deal with, without doing strange things to it. Therefor, Iris prefers to leave it long and straight. It hangs down past her butt and she doesn't mind. To decorate it, Iris will often use clips or headbands. She alternates between braids, pigtails, and ponytails when on days she wears it up.
The young angel stands at an average 5'6" and has pale, flawless skin over her entire body, courtesy of her creator. She is slim and but curvy, fit in a girly short of way. In all ways, Iris is soft. She has no muscle to speak of and her skin is as soft as a baby. She's really a creature designed for cuddling rather than fighting.
Iris prefers to wear cute, vintage style clothing. She likes billowy feminine tops, usually with some sort of lace and close-fitting jeans. She likes things stylish and girly. It's just part of who she is. Headbands, clips, hats, jewelery. Iris loves impractical things and wears them too. This even extends to heels. Almost always, you can see some sort of almost-gaudy piece of jewelry hanging from her neck or around her wrist.the propspreferred weapon(s): Iris prefers no weapons.

personality:
Iris Sophia Ambriel is practically the definition of sweet and innocent most of the time. She is forgiving and truthful, an angel at it's best. Her emotions are almost always ridiculously easy to read and she rarely even bothers to try to hide them. She would make a terrible spy.
When Iris jumped from heaven, she somehow lost her voice in the process and now only other angels can hear her when she talks. As a result, Iris has to try her hardest to communicate with humans and demons. Every once and awhile, if she concentrates hard enough, she can project into another beings mind what she is trying to say.
When she's angry, the young angel can become ruthless and vengeful but it's very difficult to arouse her temper. She laughs a lot and smiles easily. Sensitive to those around her, Iris can usually tell when people are lying or when they are nervous or upset. Her empathy makes her very understanding and sweet.
As Ambriel, the angel of communication and truth, Iris's very presences inspires people to be more talkative and honest. She has extreme difficulty lying and has learned to only tell half-truths when it suits her. She finds great pleasure in doing silly things and speaking/thinking in riddles.
history:
Iris Sophia Ambriel was created in heaven and has always been free from the sinning of Earth. She was the sweet, innocent one, even in heaven. She was created originally as Ambriel, the angel of communication and truth. Before she jumped down to Earth with the rest of Eden's Rebirth, Iris had only visited Earth in response to people's prayers and, even then, only very briefly to grant a blessing or forgive a sin.
She lived a pain-free life as one of God's angels and brought laughter to even the most solemn atmosphere in heaven. She would often host tea parties or dances when things got to serious in the heavenly realm. In a way, she was a release from the constant worries of dealing with humans.
Iris was sent with Eden's Rebirth as a forgiving, understanding entity to their mostly combat based group. In part, her youth and innocence was meant to balance out the jaded age of Evander. Ambriel was and is forgiveness and love from God.the linessample roleplay:
Iris, or Ambriel as she was known by the humans who prayed to her in distant lands, stared with unerring concentration at the break in Heaven before her. She had watched as angel after angel simply jumped down to Earth. It was unpleasant looking down there and Iris still wasn't certain she should go. Heaven suited her perfectly. It was bright and colorful, full of positive emotions. Down on Earth, especially their destination, Eden, looked dull and upsetting in comparison.
"Am I really needed down there?" She asked the air quietly, her voice beautiful, like a ringing church bell. Honesty seemed to be etched in every word, even though it was a question that sang from her lips. The breeze from heaven was warm and sweet, ruffling Iris's hair as it gently flowed past her. She received no response, not from the angels around her nor from the ever-present God. Indeed, she hadn't expected one. Such was the nature of questions when you already knew the answer.
With a sigh, Iris stepped to the edge of heaven, her large, light lavender wings unfurled. Her very face betrayed all of the uncertainty and worry she was feeling but, trusting in God and herself, Iris took the step forward and jumped from heaven.
