"Are you a miserable, despondent member of Eden City? Then gather up your pennies and head over to the grand opening of the Envy Casino, the newest and best way to forget your woes for a night."
Flyers advertising the brilliant new casino and adjoining hotel were suddenly everywhere about Eden. If people weren't reading it from the flyers all about the city they were certainly hearing it from their friends: The Envy Casino was the place to be. Despite it being a war-zone, Eden is still a city with needs and one of those needs is activity and the circulation of money. The casino and all that it came with, known unofficially as the Seven Sin Compound, was designed (by the devils contrary to popular belief) to fit that need and perhaps to gain the owners a significant sum of money in the process. Though the workers of the casino and all of it comes with wear 'mock' devil horns and specific costumes, everyone seems to assume it is just a gimmick.
A few rumors are flying about saying that it's all some kind of scheme, that there is a secret base where horribly things are planned and carried out, and that there's an impending raid in the works, but none of that is going to stop people from running down and enjoying themselves. Some perhaps more than others.RULES
What's a Casino without some games? The event will be starting off slow with a basic casino game where I, as an admin, will play a casino staff character. If you chose to participate you will have to play by a couple basic rules. Once the event is in full swing there may be some battles since the devils own and operate the casino, but we shall see~
1:: When joining a casino game try to play fair. There will be no cheating because an admin will be running the important chance aspects of the game, and the admin running it will not be able to actually participate in the particular game.
2:: Don't rage if your character loses a game! It's only pretend money and it's not as if it'll have any long lasting effects on your character unless you actually want to rp as if you just completely bankrupted yourself.
3:: If you feel you're being cheated feel free to go to the admins with any concerns. We don't mind talking things over with you if you have any serious concerns. Just remember to be respectful because we will be too!
More rules may be added as the event moves forward, but if they are there will be an update on this thread.
